Welcome y'all!
Hi,
I am Kristen an Oklahoma raised city, chic, God fearing southern
belle and wife. Lover of baking, cooking, fashion, decorating, fitness, sports
and all things Oklahoma.
Here is my story: Born and raised in the fly over state, Oklahoma. I am a graduate of the University of Central Oklahoma with a Bachelor’s degree in Broadcast Journalism and Advertising.
I
ironically ended up marrying a close friend who grew up just one town
over from me. After 13 years of friendship, and two years of
dating I married my husband Kyle in September of 2012. Before we were
married I lived in the city and my husband would love nothing more than to live
in the country...so we live somewhere in between.
This
blog is compiled of my random thoughts, recipes, life lessons and the journey
of my life as a southern miss. If you’re here, thanks, if you’re just
passing through – be sure to say hi.
There
is some fear behind making your thoughts public for everyone to read but here I
go embarking on my blog journey!
I thought you should get to know me...
1. Are you named after anyone? My middle name is Ann
which is my mother’s name.
2. When was the last time you cried? I am a total crier. I cry
daily for the most part. So, last night as I watched, for the tenth time, Kevin Durant from the OKC
Thunder give his speech as he was named NBA MVP last month.
3. Do you have kids? No.
4. If you were another person, would you be a friend of

me.
5. Do you use sarcasm a lot? Uh…I wouldn’t say a lot
but more often than not.

watch sports and read the news on the computer.
14. What’s the furthest you’ve ever been from home? Fonds Parisien, Haiti.

yoga and working out, DIY projects and does spending time with family and
friends count?

before I got married and he lives an hour away with my college roommate and
best friend. I still consider him part mine…he does still have part of my
heart. But no, none that live fulltime with me.
19. Favorite movie? Sweet Home Alabama - “Why would you wanna marry me anyhow?”
“So I can kiss you anytime I want!”

both my professional and personal lives.
